Junior Curlers come to North Carolina

Starting this Friday, the Triangle Curling Club in Durham will host the Triangle Junior Bonspiel, where curlers ranging in age from 8 to 21 will compete in this three day tournament.   Our member, Quinn Gonzalez, will be playing with members from the Triangle Curling Club against a field of 15 other teams!  Good curling, Quinn!  Coastal Curling is proud of you!  Go for the gold!

TRY CURLING! 2.23.19

If you have ever wanted to try curling, now is your chance!  Our Try Curling session is 2 hours in length, and can be customized to your group. We start with a 10-15 minute off-ice session in which we go over the basics of curling: safety, terminology, delivery and more.  Then we head out to the ice for small group instruction on sweeping, delivery, release and finish with an actual curling session!  Click on the Try Curling Page to register.

Coastal Carolina Curling Club Cooks Out

This Friday, August 10th, from 5-9 pm, at shelter #3 at Hugh McCrae park, Rick Crowell will host a club and friends cook out and gathering.  The shelter has two grills and four electric outlets.  Rick will bring charcoal, buns, soda, and deviled eggs.  Bring your own meat, sides, drinks, dogs, significant others as you please.  If you bring alcohol, it cannot be in glass.   The curling season is right around the corner, and let’s kick it off as a club!   See you then!
